My main base is in mid-Wales and I divide my time between doing freelance work, teaching photography, and working on personal projects. I have been working as a part time project worker for Photoworks Westminster since 2000, running photography projects for disadvantaged sections of the community.

I set up a community based project, linking children in Wales, Wolverhampton and Cuba, by organising them to put together photo-diaries of their lives.
During the 5 weeks I spent staying with Cuban friends I also did a documentary project of impressions of Cuban life. This work & the Photodiaries were exhibited at Wolverhampton University.
Collaborative project working with people with MS to heighten awareness of issues & difficulties for people with MS and their carers
With the help of a BT Environmental Award this project documented the process of charcoal making with people from Mencap & their support workers. Exhibited at the Hereford Photography Festival, the V&A Museum in London and the Museum of Film & Photography in Bradford.
