Tony Skeggs
I started playing guitar at a very early age and have been fortunate enough to have been a professional musician since I left school (doing numerous other jobs to keep afloat along the way!) Over the last 30 years I have performed all over the World mainly in the corporate sector and also recorded more than 30 albums. I have gained a lot of skill on various other instruments and enjoy the recording process as much as anything else.
I currently make a living as a performer (mainly solo vocal and guitar) and also have a small studio in my home where I am very busy with many different projects.
My experiences with Arts Connection have involved running music workshops and have recently had the opportunity to record a number of them. I have also taken part in some community music projects which have resulted in the making of a CD for the Oldford Community.
In the future I hope to be doing more of the workshops and progress them further into recording and performance areas. I would like to run a 'music performance' workshop for those musicians and singers who have experience and want to pursue a career in performing.
