Spring Arts Extravaganza

Two days of visual arts workshops for Mencap Llanfyllin took place in February 2006, they enjoyed printmaking.

Rhoslyn took part in a days print making at St. Mary's Hall in Welshpool in April 2006. They drew pictures and transferred them onto polystyrene and then chose from a multitude of colours to roll on to the polystyrene, they then printed them onto paper. The day was very successful and enjoyed by all.

Summer Arts Extravaganza

A group of 25 adults with learning disabilities from Rhoslyn, Mencap, Leighton, Cae Melyn and Vyrnwy Academy took part in this years project. They took part in music workshops including boom whackers and digital imaging with Karin Gomm, dance to contemporary music with Helen Young and painting and sculpture making with Ingrid Maugham. The project ran for four weeks and culminated in a showing event on the final day to celebrate the achievements of the project.
